North Point Church Safeguarding Policy Overview

At North Point Church, we prioritise the safety of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Our Safeguarding Policy is designed to protect all those involved in our church activities and ensure a safe environment for everyone.

• Clear processes to report and respond to concerns.

• Support for victims and survivors of abuse.

• Accountability for those who pose a risk.

• Ongoing safeguarding training for staff and volunteers.
   

How We Safeguard You:

• Safe Recruitment: All volunteers undergo background checks (DBS) and thorough vetting.

• Training: Our staff and volunteers receive safeguarding training to ensure they understand how to recognise and report abuse.

• Immediate Response: In case of concerns or allegations, we act swiftly, following established procedures.

• Pastoral Support: We provide care and support for anyone affected by abuse.
   

Reporting a Concern:

• If you have concerns about abuse or neglect, please contact our Safeguarding Coordinator: safeguarding@northpointchurch.co.uk.

• In cases of immediate danger, call 999.
   

Support for Those Affected by Abuse:

We are here to offer pastoral care and guidance to anyone impacted by abuse. We will work with you confidentially to ensure you receive the support you need.
